aircourt Posted June 1, 2004 Report Share Posted June 1, 2004 Started bidding a 2 1/2 * in the Camarillo area, bid $65 not accepted added 2* upped bid to $70, no good. Bids ran out . Waited 72 hours and bid $75 on a 2 1/2 in Camarillo and was refused added the Thousand Oaks area with a 3 * bid $85 accepted by the Hyatt Westlake Village. Checked out the hotels' website and the rate for AAA was $170.Still trying to catch on to the bid zones.Thank s Better Bidding :) Link to comment

You can even write down your own strategy, then ask for one from us, and then compare the two.One technique you are using that i want to suggest you reconsider, and i mention it because i'm sure there are others following along and it's a commonly done, is concerning raising your bid while lowering your star quality.
