I've already been able to save over $120 on a hotel!I wanted to book 2 nights on the strip in a 4 or 5 star hotel checking in on 5/18/08 (staying Sunday and Monday night). My max per night would be about $140-150. Only problem I've run into is that is seems this is an expensive couple of days in Vegas (for not being Friday or Saturday night). Here are some rates I found:Venetian - $550 per nightMGM Grand - $330 per nightParis - $429 per nightPlanet Hollywood - $199 per nightHas anyone out there who has previously bid on hotels on non Friday or Saturday nights when prices are this high had any success in getting some of the great rates I've seen on this board? Anyone have a strategy for where to start when prices are so high to begin with? Thank you in advance, and I will be sure to follow up with what hotel I end up getting when (or if) I start bidding.
