The $52 was a tremendous savings over the best rate Icould find otherwise (net-direct from doubletree) of $139 (a 62.6% savings!) :) . I'm also satisfied that this was the very best rate I could have gotten at this time...bidding strategy went as follows: started at $40 and increased $1 at a time addingfree re-bid zones (5 additional zones that don't offer a 3* hotel). Starting at $44I was given messages that I could add between $12-$14 a night and re-bid now...each time I ignored the message and re-bid adding $1.
