The rates are not that bad at $239, $259 and $199 per night respectively. I see some people have had recent wins at The Palazzo for February and March. I'm tempted to bid for next weekend and see what happens, but I'd much rather stay at The Palazzo than The Venetian. Any thoughts as to the gamble and probability of winning The Palazzo? Oh yes, I'm also aware that The Wynn is another 5* possibility in the North Strip. Though I have seen it won lately.FYI...I'm not asking for bidding assistance. thereuare Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 We've sent a message to your INBOX.I'd give a slight edge to the Palazzo being received just because it's new, likely has lower occupancy, and it helps for them to get the word out by filling this property.However, this is hardly a 'lay-up', and i would only bid up to an amount for which you would still be comfortable receiving the Venetian or some other 5* hotel in the zone.
