This, NYC Tudor Hotel thread, helped me AVOID making a purchase that would have been disappointing. We need to be lots closer to Penn Station. Instead, we used betterbidding's HOTWIRE link to purchase the 3*- Holiday Inn Express Madison Square Garden @ $119./night. We are very happy!! I have posted the successful Hotwire/Holiday Inn purchase as a new topic. Hope my feedback helps other savvy travelers!
