thereuare
Have you finalized your plans for the larger leg of this stay (for which i've merged all of your threads for the same date). Please follow-up that thread with any updates you have and then bump this thread and we'll comment on the above. thereuare
I've moved your reply to your other thread so that others reading there will know what you decided to do for that stay and that thread now has a 'conclusion'.Are you still seeing the above hotel offered on HOTWIRE? I see a 3* hotel in this zone for your dates but it has 4 amenity icons instead of the three you posted and is also much cheaper. If you're setill seeing the above, are you searching for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults? wingnut
I forgot to add a pool as an amenity. 2 adults and 1 child. Link to comment
thereuare
This property has not yet been identified, but i will point out that if you change your search to 2rooms/2adults/1child you get an offer for a 3* hotel in this zone for only $47/nite... which is cheaper than your own room above. You might be able to get connecting rooms and have a lot more space, and cheaper, than your option above; but if connecting rooms aren't available the two adults may need to split up and one spend the nite in the same room as the child. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. wingnut
Dear thereuare:Sorry for belaboring this further. I appreciate your suggestion about getting two rooms at $47 a night at the 3*, but that's not going to work for my family. On Hotwire, I am looking at a 2 1/2 star in Lakewood North for $54 a night. It has a comp b-fast, pool, laundry and broadband internet access. Any idea of which property this is?Thanks, WN Link to comment
thereuare
This property has not yet been identified, but the amenities above are often associated with the La Quinta brand, so that would be my best guess (the La Quinta South is in not in the North zone... the La Quinta Golden is in the zone above). Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. wingnut
I decided to go with the 3* in Lakewood North/Golden, but I repeatedly received error messages from Hotwire. Instead, I selected the only 3* available through Hotwire at Denver Airport for $104 which was the Crystal Inn. The Crystal Inn was a nice, clean hotel with a decent staff, but not what I would call a 3*. Lodging was for the night of 1-17-08. Link to comment
