thereuare
I'd begin (as in don't get discouraged if these lowball bids are rejected) as follows:One re-bid zone at the 4* level in this area. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Waikoloa...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previoulsy.Select Resort Kona...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previoulsy.Select 4* Waikoloa and Kona...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100.Any questions feel free to ask.Good luck and let us know how it goes.PS- note that in the first cycle you're bidding a 4* in Waikoloa but a Resort in Kona Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment

darioc
If this doesnt work can i hold off in the accommodation and book the flights to and from the big island.Hoping pricelines hotel prices drop?Having trouble bidding due to works snail pace computers. Link to comment
thereuare
You can always book other aspects of your trip, the only question is, what if prices go up instead of down... you are then commited to this island for these dates since you already have airfare. Of course, the other aspect is that while you wait for priceline rates to <hopefully> drop, airfare prices could go up.It would be much 'safer' if you had a suitable, cancellable, back-up in case priceline doesn't come thru for you.
