whplanet
I bid MTE and Times Square so many times over that I won't bother to list all my attempts here.Suffice it to say that I'm confident that my winning bid of $210 for Millenium Broadway was the minimum possible. However, it seems that from recent posts the first few days of my stay is what drove the price up. Seems like other bidders have been able to get about $45 or so cheaper rates (MTE especially). Anyway...I was hoping for Hilton or Westin, but this is what I got:Hotel: Millenium BroadwayAddress: 145 West 44th StreetDates: 12/18/2007 - 12/24/2007Rate: $210 x 6 nights + $236.30 (taxes and fees) = $1496.30Avg rate after fees: $249.39 / nightI used SavingsBarn.com as always.Anyone stay at this hotel before? I'm curious to hear your experiences. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win.The few days before Christmas rates drop since there are much fewer business travelers in the city and a lot of people stay close to home taking care of last minute things for the holiday. The advantage of this is cheap (relative in Manhattan) hotel rates for these dates as well as less crowds in the city (but expect the stores to still be packed).Generally this hotel gets pretty good reviews and you can read some of them here.If you need any NYC advice feel free to ask since i'm local to the area. Thanks again for sharing your win with the board and for uisng the PRICELINE links at SavingsBarn.com to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
