thereuare
I'm not seeing either of the hotels above on a current HOTWIRE search... are you still seeing these offered on HOTWIRE? If so, are you searching for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults? tilepusher
I think I see them. Is your check-out date the 21st or the 22nd? When I select the 21st as the check-out date, the one on I-drive South comes up at $49 and the one on I-drive North at $46; when I select the 22nd, they come up at $36 and $39 respectively. I'm assuming that these are the ones you're referring to.Comparing these listings to the hotels on Hotwire's Vacation Packages, my best guess is that the hotel on I-drive South is the Hyatt Place Convention Center and the one on I-drive North is the Hyatt Place Universal. If you decide to reserve one of these hotels through Hotwire, please use the following HOTWIRE link to start your purchase. pdxbuysell
I am using Hotwire to find a hotel in Orlando for 2 adults & 2 kids (3 year old & 6 month old) on Nov 20 & Nov 21. I am getting $36 for 3 star hotel which might be Hyatt.Reading some reviews of this hotel I found a couple who had booked through Hotwire but were then charged $10 extra per person/per night for the kids.Does this really happen? I am clearly entering 2 kids on Hotwire (even though they ask for kids over 2) and they don't say anything about extra charge for extra person. Can I contest this if it happens? Link to comment

thereuare
THe price shown is for everyone you include in your search. So in your instance, the price would be good for 2adults/2children. If the hotel tried to charge you additional for the kids you could make a phone call to HOTWIRE who would then call the hotel and straighten it out.My guess is that the person you are writing about only indicated 2adults in the room (and no children) at which point the hotel would be entitled to charge extra (since the rate booked was only for double occupancy).
