BeachBum
Began bidding at $55 several days ago -- Tonight I received a $77 counteroffer at $60 but ignored it and tried $65 without success. I was out of free rebids but I lowered to 2.5* hoping for an upgrade and that's what I got. This is a nice property that is connected to the terminal, perfect for my flight out the next AM. Rack rate is $139 for this night so I saved 50%. Used the savingsbarn link -- thanks betterbidding! Link to comment

BeachBum
It was the counteroffer that made me expect an upgrade. That and the fact that rack rates for this night weren't significantly lower at the Courtyard than at the Marriott.Though I generally prefer 2.5* to 3* because they are more likely to have free parking and internet, in this case I was hoping to get the Airport Marriott. Thanks BB! Link to comment
