The website that indicates the lower rate than Hotwire is Valuetrips. But one must place an online reservation to verify if that rate is available on Valuetrips. Hence the rub. DD says if one finds a lower price within 48 hrs. Help and clarification would be appreciated. This double the difference is significant! :) Link to comment

Doesn't valuetrips email you a quote (which is dated) when you inquire as to the rates for the dates of your stay?
