JulesBo
I'm hoping it's the Residence Inn Coconut Grove, which is a great budget hotel with free parking. But, without help ID'ing it I don't want to risk ending up in Coral GablesOh, I am planning to stay just one night 9/28, with the next night in South Beach. Link to comment

thereuare
This property has not yet been identified, but the amenities don't seem the Residence Inn to me, as those properties tend to have different amenities than those above (including Complimentary Breakfast). JulesBo
I used the "support Better Bidding" link so I hope you get the referral credit. It was important to me, to stay in Coconut Grove instead of Coral Gables, so I went with the Hotwire property I knew (thanks to this site) instead of taking a chance on Priceline and ending up on the other side of U.S. 1.One trick I learned, which maybe has already been documented here, is to confirm the hotel identity by looking at the TripAdvisor rating. Between this site and the TripAdvisor rating, I felt certain enought that this was in fact the Mayfair before booking.Yesterday it was $129, today it was $123, and I just went in again and it's $129.Amenities: Suites, Boutique, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Hi-speed Internet, Tennis nearby, Spa Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success!Glad to hear you received the hotel (and location) you were hoping for and that the board was helpful in your purchase. One 'warning' regarding the Tripadvisor ratings is that they're dynamically updated... so the hotel rating that HOTWIRE shows may be difference then the current rating shown at Tripadvisor. The ratings are downloaded periodically (sometimes more than a month apart) and for hotels with lots of posts, the rating can change based upon the user feedback, and this is not reflected on the hotwire site (since the data was retrieved before the additional posts/rating took effect)... then creating a discrepancy. Thanks for uisng our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.Enjoy your stay.PS- can you confirm the star rating of this property... your topic title shows 3.5* but this property was previously reported at the 4* level, and a current HOTWIRE search shows a hotel with the amenities you describe above at the 4* level. You can still view the star rating by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY STUFF link near the top of their home page. THANKS!! JulesBo
Sorry, re: the star rating, (A) I am a bonehead and (B) I was talking about two separate hotels. The 3.5* was actually a 2.5* and we never did ID it. The Mayfair is in fact a 4* both in Hotwire and IRL IMHO. Link to comment
