This seems to be a very busy weekend in the Inner Harbor. I couldn't get any 3-4* hotels for under $100.

I got the Tremont Park for $78, but based on numerous online reviews I'm very worried that it's a dirty old, rundown hotel in a borderline bad neighborhood. Ugh.

Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised. I've been very happy with all my PL bids in the past.

It's been years since I've stayed there, so I can't speak to the rooms, but the Tremont properties are in downtown Baltimore, which is as safe as any other downtown I've been to. Any neighborhood is potentially bad if you're not paying attention. I don't know a single woman who has had a purse snatched on an urban street but know of several who've had it grabbed in a mall parking lot. Enjoy your trip and stay safe!
