For this bid:Bid $24 for 2* in Milwaukee Northgot a counter offer of adding $6/nightHad dad use his accountBid $27 for 2* in Milwaukee Northgot counter offer of adding $7/night!!!! :) Ikes..there were no free rebidswent back to original counteroffer of $30/night total and took it :) Still better than what I paid on Hotwire but thought the counter offers were a little crazy. They saved about $15 total by using Priceline vs. Hotwire. It is a risk in this area though as you could end up as far as Brown Deer and we wanted to be in Glendale area...Hotwire has Glendale only zone. Link to comment
thereuare
Some bids are harder than others... but the savings make it worthwhile!Too bad Hotwire Double the Difference has to found within 48 hours of booking, otherwise you could have made a claim with your Priceline purchase! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
hannahb352
At check in my mom was able to see that Priceline paid $28 for her room. This is also the same hotel that I bought on Hotwire and Hotwire paid $30 for my room. We did bid this one later than the Hotwire purchase, but I have to wonder if Priceline just gets better rates than Hotwire in general?? Link to comment
