chasman Posted March 30, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2004 Trip went smoothly. Got a non-smoking room with one bed. Upon check-in was offered a room with a view for $20 more. Declined this time. Went with the Mrs who was not initially thrilled with being on the 2nd floor facing the freeway, but she got over it. I think PL and HW rooms are usually allocated to lower floors. Good to ask for a higher floor upon check-in. I forgot to do it this time. In the SFO area, I prefer the Hyatt to the Marriott. No complaints though. Just stayed for one night. Don't forget to budget for $18 valet and bring lots of $1 bills for tipping. Link to comment
