Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Fishermans Wharf) Argonaut Hotel

Lowest listed rate at the Argonaut for my dates is $219.

It took several tries targeting 4* zones to get this. I began with USE, bidding up to $80 w/ free rebids. Then, I did a session based on USW, bidding up to $89. Finally, I began a session with Fisherman's Wharf, bidding $80, $85, then $91. (I realize I was a bit impatient with that increment, but since Hotwire was listing a 4* in USW at $99 -- presumably Parc 55, since the Clift is booked -- and a 4* in FW for $149, I figured I'd get the Parc 55 before anything in FW. I was wrong!)

Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board... hopefully this will work just as well for your plans.

I'm not 100% certain i'm following the strategy you used, but you could have done the following (if you didn't):

USE + re-bid zones

(close browser)

USW + re-bid zones

(close browser)

USE + USW + re-bid zones

Which may have give you additional opportunities for a hotel in the USE or USW zones before adding the Wharf.
