Commish of TX
My goal was to get either a Resort or 4 star property in Orlando on my July dates for under $100/night. This was not available when I checked on Hotwire. My research suggested, however, that through Priceline I should be able to get the Peabody, Gaylord or Hilton resort in the $90's.I started by only selecting Resorts in the Universal Studio and Disney areas. I began at $76.I then increased my bid by $2 each time, first agreeing to add 4 star hotels, and then adding "free bid" geographies that did not have either 4 star hotels or Resorts.I logged out of Priceline after every third bid.I hit the Peabody at $92.00 Link to comment
