cesco.g Posted April 19, 2007 Report Share Posted April 19, 2007 Did a last minute bid before leaving on vacation:4/5 - 4/7/07 (=THU - SA Easter weekend)Alamo, mid-size car, Rate: $ 17 / day = $ 34.00Taxes: $ 18.81Total Charges: $ 52.81Taxes equaled 55.3 % of base fee. This percentage is substantially higher than the standard fee charged on regular rentals.Surprisingly lines were bearable and got upgraded to a standard size (Buick LaCross I believe). All-in-all a good experience. :) Regular Alamo rates were in the $ 70 range Link to comment
