thereuare
Well i just checked and i believe there used to be a re-bid zone available for this area but apparently there isn't anymore... just proves our earlier discussion about why it's important to know how to check the zones (and actually do it before bidding).I would recommend selecting 3* LAX and bid $32.If rejected you then have a choice...a) wait 72 hours and raise your bid to $35 which then opens up a few more add'l hotel possibilities ORb) lower your star quality to 2.5* and bid $27 (which often results in the Quality Hotel).Of course a third option if you much prefer 3* to 2.5* and want to get it over with is to just bid $35 off the bat, but doing risks the potential of a $3 over-bid.Let us know how it goes and/or if you have any questions.Good Luck. diamonddvd
O.K. Now, I have time to tell. :) I bid $32 for 3* and failed. My friend bid $37 for 3* and get counter offer +10. We will be there so we have chance at least two times each time. But we have to wait, now. :) I will try again and if failed then I will choose 2.5* at that time.Any advice? Link to comment
diamonddvd
O.K. I got it. $43 for Radisson Hotel At Los Angeles Airport(3*)I bidded $38 and denied raised to $43 with adding beverly hills(I know this area ie not free rebidding zone, but it's more expensive than LAX. So I added with confidence) Thanks. :) Link to comment
diamonddvd
I forgot to mention. I checked other web sites and until last month, the deal was usually ~$32 with 3* but from Feb. most guys only got more than $42 around LAX and I also confirmed with my bidding history :) That's why I had to increase $43 bidding . At first I'd try 2.5* with $27 but, when I cheched ,they didn't provide free shuttle bus to LAX(some hotels did). I don't have a car so,,,, no choice. Anyway, I'm happy.Thanks. Link to comment
