Don_Quixote
Hi, Help a out a noobie! I just joined :) I have been trying to unsuccessfully get a 3* or a 4* hotel on South Beach between 04/07-04/11. So far, here is the summary:4*:started at $75 went up to $105: No Luck (I understand that Resorts and 4* attract a resort fee on top, so I stopped as this is as far as I can go.)3*:started at $75 went up to $90 using the 2 rebid zones (gives me 5 bids max?): No LuckI am willing to go up to about $110 for a 3* if they dont attract a resort fee and around the same for a 4* considering the add-ons.Any suggestions will help. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! There are some 3* hotels that charge resort fees too... and you can't determine before bidding if you will recieve a hotel that does or not. Are you still willing to bid up to $110?Given your previously rejected bids (which i' asusming were at least within the last 48 hours), and your two re-bid zones:Select 3* South Beach...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $100, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* South Beach and re-bid zone2...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $110.If the above is rejected... have you taken a look at EasyClickTravel and/or Quickbook?Any questions feel free to ask.Let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
