Ottawa is really busy next week - Federal Budget is being announced on the 19th.

I was bidding for 2.5 * three-nights 03/19 to 03/22 at $55, but nothing was coming up - so I waited twice for the 24 hour Lock-Out to end. Bid up $5 per day in the Ottawa and Hull zones.

Finally hit at $80 with a "bump" to the 3* Ottawa Holiday Inn Gatineau.

The best rate on the Hotel site is a pre-paid at $111.20 (CDN) = $95.04 (USD) per night plus tax...so this PL rate is only a $10 US per night savings..

It's not my favourite hotel in the area - but since Ottawa is booked solid....it's an OK place to sleep at a decent price.
