larrylaffer
Looking for a 4* in the above areas for 3 nights from April 21. Rebid zones seem to be Brighton, Medford and South Boston. Hva tried bids up to $90 for the copley zone. Would be happy to go to $120 if you think it would be likely to snag something? Link to comment
thereuare
"Downtown" and "Copley" are two different zones... whicn one(s) are you bidding? When did you make your last bid (at $90)? larrylaffer
Sorry for the confusion. I would be happy with either location as I understand them to be very central. I last bid $90 in the Copley area. Although I have noticed a 3 star in the theatre district for 118 on hotwire which looks quite good value- although one can never be sure on these things i think it is either the raddison or the doubeltree. thereuare
Have you bid Downtown previously or just the Copley zone? What are the amenities that HOTWIRE asscociates with the propert you're seeing there? larrylaffer
Yes I also tried downtown up to $90. Hotwire states the hotel amenities as being: Fitness, Restaurant, Business Centre, High Speed Internet. Could be one of the three I think. The Raddison would be great - but I suspect it could be the Park Plaza? The raddison website is advertising itself as 199 per room per night. Link to comment
thereuare
Best guess is that it's the Park Plaza as it is a match for what has previously been reported for that property. The Doubletree has these amenity icons, except doesn't have a Hi-Speed Internet (which i'm fairly sure they do have), so if that has been added then that is a possibility as well... the Radisson has entirely different amenities so i think that is least likely. To try on Priceline you have three re-bid zones available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Copley...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Downtown...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Copley and Downtown...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes. larrylaffer
Thanks for the strategy. Worked a treat. Managed to get up to $105 before being given a counter offer of $22 more. Declined and added a rebid zone and got the Millenium Bostonian Hotel for $110.
