marleejean
I would like to bid with PL for our stay in FW April 19th - 22nd. Any advise would be appreciated. We would like a 3 star but would settle for 2 1/2 star. I have bid with PL before, just wanted to know what your strategy would be. Love this site!! Thanks!! Link to comment

thereuare
You have one re-bid zones when bidding 3* in San Francisco. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 3* Wharf...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70.If the above is rejected, in 24 hours:Select 3* Wharf...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80.Given rates for these dates i'm doubtful you'll be successful, that that's what i would try given your limit. marleejean
I'm baaaack!! Just went on Priceline today.....again. I started bidding (through SavingsBarn.com) at $80.00 for a 3* in FW. They countered with "if I raise it up another $22.00, I could get it." I used my free rebid ( Civic Center) upped the price to $90.00 and got the Tuscan Inn....which I truly wanted because a bunch of our friends will be staying there pre-cruise. 3 nights at the Tuscan....their going price for those days are $164 + taxes per night... my total for 3 nights with taxes and priceline fees.....$319.39. Yippppeeeeee.....I'm a happy camper!Hope this helps the above poster, Carol......thanks! Link to comment

marleejean
Actually, we're not going on the cruise.......but about 80 "Cruise Addicts" are. We're just visiting with them for 3 days, then going to Santa Clara to visit our daughter. Love this site....and yes, I did use the savingsbarn link. Didn't have any luck with Santa Clara hotels today, but will keep trying. Link to comment
