greenkiller2005
Want to rent a car (compact/midsize) from SFO and return it to LAX for 12 days. Seems many rental companies charge additional fee for one-way rental. I did not find any place where I can name my own price for one-way rental. Is there? If there is, how much more I should count in for daily price? Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
Enter your two different destinations in the 'retail'/non-opaque version of their site.Once the grid is shown with prices, click the "Name Your Own Price" banner at the top of the page. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
greenkiller2005
Sorry but what's "retail'/non-opaque version"? I use IE and firefox to access priceline.com. Can enter pick-up/drop-off locations with no problems. But only got prices of different companies with no bar or link for "name your own price". If clicking "name your own price" directly from car rental mainpage, can only bid for round-way rental. :) Link to comment
thereuare
If you go to an affiliate site and see a "priceline rental car" link, click it and on the left hand side enter your pick-up/drop-off locations along with your dates and times (DO NOT click the "Name Your Own Price" link at this time)... click NEXT at the bottom of the page.On the ensuing page you'll see a grid with prices (similar to how Orbitz displays prices and options). On this page there will be a banner at the top of the page to try to "Name Your Own Price". This will keep your different pick-up/drop-off locations intact and allow you to try a bid. Priceline only offers different pick-up/drop-off locations between a few select airports.
