i will be traveling to clearwater from the 26th-29th of august. i've read alot of the stuff you have on the website (great stuff) and i'd like to go over my bidding strategy before i execute. i want to stay on clearwater beach. there are 3 hotesl in that area according to priceline that i would be indifferent to: hyatt, sheraton, and marriot. all three hotels are 3 stars. so i'm starting at 3 star, rebid at 4 star, and rebid again at resort? is this correct? also what price would you suggest i put my first bid at and subsquent bids? any suggestions would help out alot. Thanks alot!!!

ps- i will be going through savingsbarn.com in order to bid on pricline

in the Clearwater Beach zone the highest star level available is 3*

your only free rebid zone in this area is South St. Pete (only has 2* or lower).........every other zone has 3* or better

we don't see many wins in this area, for that time frame personally I'd start at $70

if that doesn't work, add South St. Pete zone and increase by $10

try again in 24 hours

repeat as necessary
