Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip) Monte Carlo

Hi everyone,

Its been a while since I've been on here. Can someone please help me with a bidding strategy for a 4* on the Las Vegas Strip area for one night -- 8/26. The resort in Northwest Las Vegas would be nice too, but I doubt I could get it for $100/night.

We can suggest a strategy for you to try... but i'm doubtful you'll be successful as this is a Saturday nite and a lot of hotels on the strip don't allow Saturday check-in.

Hi,

I don't have a backup plan yet. Any suggestions? Does the Saturday night check-in rule effect only hotels on the strip? If so, I'm now open to staying West of Strip and Convention Center as well as NW Las Vegas. I'm also willing to increase max bid to $150 for a 4*.

Can someone identify the 4* hotwire hotel in the south strip below? Its priced about $30 more than my max bid price, but might be more realistic for a sat check in. Much appreciated!

Please post with the just the star rating, amenities, and zone rather than just copying pasting the entire offer... the formatting gets messed up and it makes the post and amenities very difficult to read. (i have edited both posts above to clean them up)

The 3* is a match for the Riviera while the 4* is a match for Treasure Island, so those would be our best guesses for each.

If you book either, please start your purchase with this HOTWIRE link.

However, if you're considering the 4* above, i think a better option would be the Aladdin for $175 (no booking fee so about $10 cheaper than what you're considering above)

I just checked another Vegas request for this weekend, and rooms will be in short supply because the Magic Expo starts the following Monday at the LV Convention Center, with annual attendence of over 100,000. I agree with thereuare is that you better look at other alternatives as most major hotel properties will be booked.

Hi,

I started bidding yesterday at $155, 160, 165 -- all rejected.

Started bidding today at $169 and accepted at the Monte Carlo.

Used savingsbarn, as I have in the past.

I would have picked the Aladdin using the link Thereuare sent me (finally worked out the bugs on my computer), but I read a few reviews and thought that the construction might not be very visitor friendly at this time.

Congratulations on your success... and a new hotel for the Pricleine Hotel List as we haven't seen this hotel come up thru Priceline yet!

I used to recommend this hotel a LOT as it was often available for great rates thru EasyClickTravel, but then the Monte Carlo stopped giving them inventory and really good deals were tough to find at this property. Gald to see it come up on priceline and hopefully it will be frequently avaialble (although many will still have trouble bidding in hopes of avoiding the slightly off-strip Westin).
