dailema
I just bid on and won 2 rooms at the Burnham through Priceline for $99 for 8/17 (1 night). They offered an extension at the same rate. I declined but maybe that helps someone else (not sure). First time I ever bid on hotel rooms. In my usual fashion, I'm thinking maybe I should have offered less, although I'm pretty happy with this price. Hotwire's lowest rate for a 4* Loop hotel was $114 (probably the Burnham). AaronJB
Fantastic deal! Not only is that a very nice hotel, but the regular rate on Expedia is a whopping $289 for that night for 1 room. Link to comment
vozbelle
dailema-I agree, I think you did great. I was bidding for 08/16-08/19 a couple of days ago for 4 star (before I wound up with Allegro, 3 star, a "sister" to Burnham, kimpton hotel), when I bid $83 (my max) I was offered a free rebid of $22. You are within that range. I keep checking here and hotwire to make sure prices don't drop and I did not overbid but it looks like on Hotwire rates went up for my stay, I am pleased so far! See you in Chicago! :) Link to comment
