headtrip Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 Seems like the Omni ought to be available at about $100 for the weekend based on previous winning bids, but because you have a day before the weekend, and 2 days after the weekend, a split bid might be your best bet if you want that hotel. Try bidding 7/21-7/25 and see if you can get it using the same strategy, then you can either book directly or try your luck at getting the same hotel on the 7/20 date.Good luck Link to comment
TimeBeing Posted July 6, 2006 Report Share Posted July 6, 2006 Just a heads up you are not likely going to find much from the 20th to the 23rd in san diego anywhere within 15 to 20miles of downtown that weekend. From the 19th to the 23rd is Comic-Con (100,000 person Convention in Downtown) and most hotels have been sold out since Febuary, and those that are not want 250-300 a night. Link to comment
