cntrfieldsmom
Got the Millenium a month ago. No luck this time. Availability in all downtown except the Hyatt. Had plenty of rebids so tried DT @35.00, added Maplewood @ 45.00, added Coon rapids @ 50, and added Fridley @ 51.00. Will try again, maybe got rejected because I lowballed the first bid? Is that possible? Link to comment

cntrfieldsmom
Are weekday wins generally more expensive than weekends? Link to comment
thereuare
Rates for these dates are high... the Marriott is sold-out and the Hilton and Millenium rates are much higher than usual.Fortunately the Marquette rates are low, but they also usually require a higher bid than the rest in the area.I would book a back-up at the Marquette (please use this link if you do) for $109/nite (the lesser rates are non-refundable).I'd then continue to try priceline, but i think you'll likely have to increase your bid somewhere between $50-$65 at this point to find success. cntrfieldsmom
Success today, I love the 24 hr rule!Started at $35, 41, 50,55, and 60 was accepted. I got the Marquette. I'm not familiar with this hotel, but noticed trip advisor has them as the #1 downtown hotel, very cool! Used savingsbarn of course. Link to comment
