Had tried around $5 less previously and been rejected.The hotel has done very well on TripAdvisor (ranked 9th), gotten great reviews, but its the *one* place I didn't want to get - the descriptions of 'quaint', etc. weren't quite my cup of tea. I was, quite literally, hoping for anywhere else bar this.PL has been good to me lately - have scored hotels I was v. happy with in Houston/Austin/etc (will post those winning bids asap) and this is the first disappointment for me. I know I was risking it somewhat, but I fancied my odds. Darn. Link to comment
slruud Posted June 10, 2006 Report Share Posted June 10, 2006 Just think positive and it should be fine. We stayed at the EM a couple of years ago, and due to location, it was very quiet. Something that can be a problem on the Riverwalk. Link to comment
