Hotwire Hotel: 4* Curaco is $150 w/3 people, $66 w/ 2 people

Hello. I am going to Curacao Aug. 16 - 20. I ran a hotwire search and got $150 as a quote for a 4 * there. It may or may not be the Hilton (the amenities appear to exactly match the Hilton).

Anyway, for 3 people, they want $150/night, but if I put 2 people in, we get an offer for only $66/night!!!

I read the FAQ about additional people in the room. My question is can I just go w/2 people and then have our third person come in "later" through the lobby? It is such a large price difference! Even if they were to charge us for the extra person, surely it would not be all that much ($84 extra per night?!?).
