Maggie Sheu
My parents flew to the US to attend my commencement, and I would like to take them around for tours. I planned to take them several cities, and therefore I would like to save some more on logging costs. One of the stops I plan to visit is Boston, and I plan to stay there for 2 nights. Is there any suggestion on bigging on 05/29 - 05/31? I am driving and therefore I would prefer a place with convenient parking option. Additionally, I heard that some areas in Boston are not quite safe; I would avoid those areas for logging options as well. I would like to bid on 3+ hotels with maximum bit 100. Is it doable? thenewbie
Welcome! To start, parking in Boston isn't cheap. If you want to park at your hotel, you should expect to pay $25-35/day.For priceline, you will want to learn how to find the rebid areas. There are 3 areas that do not have 3* or 4* hotels. Use the advice in that thread to locate these areas. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.Select 4* Downtown...Bid $65, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 1...Bid $70, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 2...Bid $75, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 3...Bid $80, if unsuccessful close browser and re-access priceline as you did beforeSelect 4* Copley...Bid $65, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 1...Bid $70, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 2...Bid $75, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 3...Bid $80, if unsuccessful close browser and re-access priceline as you did beforeSelect 4* Downtown and Copley...Bid $85, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 1...Bid $90, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 2...Bid $95, if unsuccessful add re-bid area 3...Bid $100, if unsuccessful close browser and re-access priceline as you did beforeIf this doesn't work, let us know and we'll suggest how to bid the 3* level.
