KeystoneKC
New to this site, so sorry I'm late. My first attempt with Priceline, so I was pretty clueless as to strategy. Bid 3* for those dates at $75, and was upgraded to 4* Capital Hilton. Had just got off the phone with that hotel's reservation desk, & couldn't get a rate under $250 per room. Tried Priceline out of frustration. Gladly pocketed the difference. Hotel refused to extend the premiums that I usually get as an elite member. Didn't mind much... the difference easily paid for breakfast, a paper, points, & what-not. Link to comment
