echolaine
Just booked the Prague Marriot for 2 nights, August 5 & 6, for $117 per night. I have been bidding for several days, starting at $85 and having successive $5 bids rejected ($90, $95, $100 etc). Tonight I bid $115, and received the message that I could re-bid for $22 more. Instead, I added another area, bid $117, and it was accepted.Important information: right now, the Marriott is the only 5* hotel in Prague. It is in the East. So you can bid east, and if it is rejected, add west and increase by a few dollars. If that is rejected, add southeast, and add a few dollars more. I would, however, check to be sure each day before bidding that Priceline hasn't added any other 5* hotels to those other locations, or this strategy may backfire, placing you further from the centre. Many thanks to all those who posted. I was comfortable bidding being nearly sure that it was the Prague Marriot where we would end up. Link to comment
Chris26WI
If I remember correctly, the Savoy Hotel in Prague-West should be a 5star too Link to comment

Chris26WI
I thought the rooms at the Marriott were much superior to the ones of the Renaissance. Link to comment
