I began bidding at $60 and continued bidding with free bids until my $100 bid was accepted. The taxes and service fees are $39.56, for a two night total of $239.56.

The Marriott website shows a rate of $219. FYI, the website shows that the pool is closed for renovation.

This reservation is for the second weekend of Jazz Fest; we are quite pleased with our purchase.

My previously rejected bid was for $95, but did not include the French Quarter.

My bid pattern was as follows:

$60 (CBD)

$70 (add Convention Center)

$80 (add Garden District)

$85 (add Metairie)

$90 (add NO Airport)

$95 (add West Bank)

$100 (add French Quarter)

I began with CBD and Convention Center because these were my preferences.
