I started off with a ludicrous amount. My thought, if I don't "ask", the answer is always "No". I was hoping to beat a $77/night deal at the Hotel Ponchartrain (via Expedia and Hotels websites) Good price for a hotel in the area, but not one of the better hotels (read a lot of bad reviews about Ponch)

1st Bid: $30 - FAILED

2nd Bid: $50 - FAILED

3rd Bid: $60 - FAILED

4th Bid: $65 - ACCEPTED!

It took about an hour to process all the bids.
