thereuare
There is are two moderate sized conventions beginning the last nite of your stay. Singly neither would effect room price very much, but both happening at the same time is making room rates expensive.I don't think your budget is high enough for a 4*, and the 'problem' is that once you start bidding less than 4* on the strip you could end up at the very north part of the strip zone at the Circus Circus/Stratosphere area... which is not what most refer to the as "the strip" and not where you want to be as a first time Vegas visitor. This leaves you with Hotwire where you can usually try to figure out the hotels beforehand based upon the amenities shown; as well Hotwire divides the strip into North Strip and South Strip, making it very easy to avoid the northern section of the strip by only choosing a hotel in the Southern Strip zone. For your dates there is a 3* in the South Strip zone for ~$100/nite. The amenties and star rating match the description of the Excalibur so that would be our best guess for this property, and is the best deal i could find for your complete dates. If you're willing to SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID you may be able to do better for the first nite of your stay (slightly cheaper and/or a 4* hotel), but you'd then have to be willing to switch hotels for the next two nites of your stay.Let us know your thoughts on the above and if you have any questions. If you move forward let us know how it goes.
