TQ72
Hi Aaron, Obviously 2 double beds would be much more preferable given our kids are getting older and bigger. And I’d like to keep it in Mag Mike/Gold coast/River north area if possible, and preferably 100-200 for the night. Hi Guys, I'm actually looking to book in again to Chicago this coming Thursday, the 19th, but this time it will be with 2 kids. So I was just wondering how reliable it is to use the service when we definitely need the 2 double beds. I used your helper and got two 4 * choices in the Mag Mile area on HW for 122/night and one for 161/night. The best guess for the 161 is the Ambassador and there are a few choices for the 122/night. So just wondering if you have an idea what that hotel might be but more importantly whether it's reliable to use HW to ensure that we get at least 2 double beds for us on Thursday? Thanks. AaronJB
I'm seeing on HOTWIRE: 4* HOTWIRE Theater District - Loop for $183.54 Free Internet Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet ==> Best guess would be the Cambria Loop. There is a 2 bed option showing for the same price. 4* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $161.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Ambassador. This listing says bed choice, but once I click on it it's not offered. I've stayed at this property when it was an Omni, then stayed after the complete revamp as the boutique Public Hotel. The Public impressed in terms of the facelift that the historic hotel was given, but there were limitations - it's an old building and walls are thin. This is at the very tip top of the zone, it's not centrally located. 4* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $122.00 Pet Friendly Indoor Pool Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf ==> Likely the Sheraton. I'm not seeing bed choice, but $122 for this date (especially when searching for quad occupancy) is certainly cheaper than comparable options. Other HOTWIRE options that do not show bed choice option but that appear when searching for 2 adults and 2 children (which should result in some form of bedding for the entire party, although 2 beds is not guaranteed): 3* HOTWIRE Theater District - Loop for $145.00 Free Internet Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet ==>Best guess would be the Hilton Garden Inn North Loop 3* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $188.00 Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Kitchenette ==> Best guess would be the Homewood Suites Downtown/Mag Mile 3.5* HOTWIRE River North for $137.00 Free Internet Indoor Pool Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza On PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the links below.) 4* Chicago Loop - Grant Park (<<<---- CLICK HERE to go direct to the listing) for $190 Pets Allowed Fitness Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet >>>Best guess would be the StayPineapple at the Alise, which until recently was the Kimpton Burnham. There is a 2 bed room option just over budget at $222.61 ($205 + 17.61 fee), but did want to offer it as a suggestion as it's an extremely historic property with mostly excellent reviews.
