avery91381 Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 Looking for a decent hotel in the North County on 3/3/06 in hopes of getting the Doubletree in Del Mar over the Hilton or Marriott (just to avoid paid parking).Bid $42 for a 3* in Del Mar and was rejected.Bid $45, and added Coronado (no 3* hotels in Coronado, just 4*) and was rejected.Bid $48, and added Sorrento Mesa (again, no 3* hotels) and was rejected.Bid $51, and added Carlsbad (only one 3* hotel, the Grand Pacific Palisades, which I would have been perfectly happy with also.....and finally got the Doubletree!
