sequitur
In a first for me, I'm doing a search for 2 adults, 2 children (which I didn't even think would work at all). Because of the group size, I thought we'd be limited to renting an apartment, which isn't cheap for my June dates, so I'm surprised to see these 2 results: #1: 5*, $345/night, 80% recommended (on hotwire.com it says 85%, same price) Full amenities list from biddinghelper.com: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access, Children's activities #2: 5*, $386/night, 70% recommended FULL AMENITIES (from Biddinghelper.com): Boutique hotel, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower I suppose if you disclose you have 4 people, they can't turn you away, but it's especially important to identify the hotel and do research, to ensure we aren't packed in, like "kippers in a can" (practicing my 'english' for the trip to England) Link to comment
thereuare
Best guess/comments for each: 5* HOTWIRE Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho for $345.00 Free Internet Boutique Fitness Restaurant Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities ==> Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel 5* HOTWIRE Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho for $386.00 Boutique Indoor Pool Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> Le Meridien Piccadilly Here is another thought... how about TWO rooms, such as (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking any links provided below): 4.5* Kensington - Earl's Court for $200 (only $190 when using the BetterBidding code from our Priceline Coupon page so basically the same price as those above... not in the Mayfair zone but this offer does have a 9+ user review rating from previous guests) Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be the Adria Boutique Hotel Do any of the above work for your needs this trip? sequitur
Thanks for the ID help. Because of the group size (4) and prices, I re-focused on a short-term apartment rental. Haven't made final decision yet, but I don't expect to update this post with a 'win' and wanted to advise. Link to comment

Rojiviris
I am doing the same trip and want the same area to stay in, but a few days after you, and with 2 more families and have been looking for apartments, but they do not seem any cheaper the full service hotels! If you find any solution, please share!!! Link to comment
sequitur
Rojiviris: if you have that large a group, then an apartment rental is going to be your best bet, especially an apartment with multiple units allowing the group to stay together. Example: If you google “old Compton house 3” the first result is Airbnb, and the second is the agency that list on Airbnb (direct with them is cheaper). My family settled on an apartment rental from a company called “oasis” where we got a huge 3BR apartment in Pimlico for 250 a night, which I think was an excellent deal. Link to comment

Rojiviris
Thank you! I am also wanting to find an apartment so we can all be together, but unable to find anything that large for our entire group. However, the management copmany you mentioned above, seems to have several units in the same building so that definitely helps! Thank you for the advice!! Link to comment
