RVD26
Need help to ID 4.5 Star NYC Lower East Side hotel listed at $158/night. 1 room and 2 adults. Amenities include: Fitness center Pet friendly Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms Hoping it is Hotel Indigo, but looks to be more like Hotel 50 Bowery NYC. Any ideas? Link to comment
thereuare
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 4.5* HOTWIRE Lower East Side - East Village for $158.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet ==> if this is what you're seeing, as per the HOL this matches previous reports for the Hotel 50 Bowery NYC and that would be my best guess here. With a 5.0 TA rating, why not this one? If you're looking to target the Indigo i believe it is offered here (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the link provided below): 4.5* Lower East Side - Chinatown for $222 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here is the Hotel Indigo, and you can also get an extra 5% off using the board discount available in our Priceline Coupon page I'm very familiar with NYC, if neither of the above work for your needs let us know what is it that you're looking for in a hotel for this trip and your maximum budget? (per nite before taxes/fees) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. RVD26
This is the full amenities list using the Bidding Helper tool (which wasn't working for some reason when I posted this last night): Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access A little cheaper now at $146/night. Either hotel is fine from the reviews. Cheaper would be better, obviously. I'm looking to stay in the LES area. $200/night is the budget. Link to comment
AaronJB
I'd certainly go with the one that has a 5/5 tripadvisor review rating, which is a very difficult achievement in NYC. 4.5* Lower East Side - East Village for $146.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet ==> Hotel Bowery would be my guess as well. Let us know what you decide and if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. RVD26
I went ahead and booked directly with Hotel 50 Bowery with a price match to Expedia, since the price was about the same between Expedia and HOTWIRE. Thanks! Link to comment
