genx
Hi All, I will be travel next week to Miami (Nov 8 - Nov 11). I am flexible on where to stay, any the areas below will do Downtown - Port of Miami Downtown Miami - Brickell Financial District South Beach - Central - Art Deco District South Beach - Central - Convention Center South Beach - Collins Avenue Oceanfront South Beach - Ocean Drive I bid the past 2 days for 3.5 star in this area, and the following amount 80,85,90,95 and 100 with no success. On my first bid it did ask me to buy at $123 a night. I checked express bidding and for the nights available I found 4* Art Deco for $105 and 4* in Brickell for $116. I haven't bid in a while but I would have thought bidding was cheaper. Here are my questions: 1) What is typically lower bidding or express deal 2) Would you know which hotel the 4* are in express Amenities for Brickel are Bed ChoiceBusiness CenterFitness CenterNon Smoking RestaurantSwimming Pool Amenities for Art Deco are Bed ChoiceAirport ShuttleBusiness CenterFitness Center Non SmokingRestaurantSwimming Pool Link to comment

AaronJB
I'm seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the links below.) 4* Downtown Miami - Brickell Financial District for $155 Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Guesses would be the Atton Brickell 4* South Beach - Central - Art Deco District for $106 Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>The Washington Park Hotel would be a guess here, but not certain. Additionally, you can use the promotion in my signature for PRICELINE EXPRESS, which ends tonight. As for your bids, you got a counter offer for $123. The counter-offer is not what is necessarily required to win, the likely required bid is somewhere between your last failed bid and the counter offer. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 3 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 3* HOTWIRE Central SoBe - Art Deco District for $90.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Near Beach Smoke Free Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> if this is what you're seeing The Kent Hotel would be my best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide or how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
genx
I ended up going with the Washington Park link above. Used the board PRICELINE link and coupon code. Total cost before fees was $105/night and all with resort fees for 3 nights was $441. The room may only accommodate 2, so hopefully 4 of us can fit okay, otherwise may need to sleep on the ground. I read that one child is free, so will see if they charge for my other child. I have to look into a place/car to stay after the cruise but will create a new thread for that. Thank you all your help Link to comment

Thank you for using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase and sharing your win, helping us update the Priceline Express Hotel List with the new amenity set for this property. Have a great stay and enjoy your upcoming cruise! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
