Lynxette
Hello, First i have to tell you that i'm french and my english is far from being perfect. I just discovered your website, i'm looking for an hotel in NYC (manhattan) from 3.5 stars to 4/5 in MAY 2018. The cheaper the better. 200 tax included would be perfect. Is it too early to book now? Thanks Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. If your dates are confirmed and you are okay with booking a non-refundable rate, it's certainly worth researching availability. Which PRICELINE NYC zone/s would be acceptable? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Lynxette
Thanks AaaronJB for your quick reply. Timesquare / midtown would be perfect. Non refundable can be managed :) Link to comment

AaronJB
Unfortunately, not for NYC in the Spring. Those would be $200 or less "all in", which is the budget you noted above. Would either of these options be of any interest? AaronJB
Other options available in Midtown are going to start to exceed your desired budget. On HOTWIRE: 4.5* Midtown East for $193.00 Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> The Intercontinental Barclay has been seen with this amenity set. Would this potential option be of any interest? So that we can better understand what you're looking for, what is it about the St Giles the Court that you don't like? Lynxette
Compare to direct rate from the premier at USD 218.31 all tax included what would be your choice? Link to comment
thereuare
Overall the reviews for the InterContinental New York Barclay are better than those for the premier... and the InterContinental ratings may even be dragged down a bit by previous reviews, as the reviews have gotten much better since their recent renovation. AaronJB
The Intercontinental Barclay underwent a massive renovation and was closed for quite some time while that occurred. The renovation cost $180M and took 24 months. I think that would certainly be a fine choice of hotel.
