mJ12
I need a 4 star or higher from the 18th to the 21st. Looking for either chicago loop or magnificent mile. Never bid before so don't know what price range or what hotels to expect Link to comment
AaronJB
Just to confirm: 18th-21st of August? If so - on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the links below.) 3* Downtown - River North for $123 Business Center Free Internet Free Breakfast Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Guess would be Holiday Inn Express Cass. On the basic side, but great location. As these dates go, a more reasonable option, especially if you're just looking for a place to sleep. 4* Chicago Loop - Grant Park for $142 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Not certain, but a guess here would be the W City Center. I think that's a nice property, but it's not very convenient from a tourist perspective. 4.5* Downtown Chicago - Millennium Park for $190 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>This would be a possible match for the Monaco, which is an excellent boutique right on the river. Good, central location. What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay? Are any of the above possibilities of interest? Thank you for keeping us updated on what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. mJ12
I am willing to bid a maximum of 120$ a night and yes the W hotel chains would definitely be something I would be interested in. Link to comment
thereuare
15 hours ago, mJ12 said: the W hotel chains would definitely be something I would be interested in When bidding on PRICELINE you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid, there is no way to target (or avoid) any one specific property or brand. If you're looking to target (or avoid) a specific property than PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE may be a better option as they each give you a little more information about the hotel being offered and can use this information to take a guess and gain insight as to which property it may be. If you'd prefer to move forward with bidding, please confirm which zone(s) you're willing to accept... is the Chicago Loop - Grant Park zone (the zone for the original property you asked about) the only acceptable zone or are there others that will also work for your needs this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how you would like to proceed and we will advise accordingly.
