NYCSEPT
Travel dates 9/16-9/19. Would prefer two beds; however, not necessary. Priceline Express deals look to be mostly $250+. Seems like a reasonable name your price budget of $175-$200. Seems like may be busy travel dates? Link to comment

thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. When bidding 4* in NYC you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. NYCSEPT
Dates have not changed. However, this seems like a good deal and I can pick bed choice. We don't mind moving hotels during stay. It seems this same hotel may be available 9/16 - 9/17 for a little more money but on average good deal. The third night is $700+ so we move to another hotel. Link to comment
AaronJB
I'm seeing for 9/17-18 on HOTWIRE: 4.5* Midtown East for $127.00 Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet ==> Possible match for the Westin Grand Central. Midtown East is a very nice area, especially if you can get what is a very reasonable rate for a traditionally busy period. There are a couple of hotels at the very far E border of the zone that are somewhat out of the way, but otherwise the zone is just fine. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. NYCSEPT
Booked 9/17-9/18 on Hotwire for $138 + tax (2 double beds). In fact hotel was 4.5* Westin New York Grand as suggested. Then booked additional night 9/16-9/17 for $244 + tax. Seems like a steal! Now need hotel for 9/18 - 9/19. Going to Yankees game on 9/18 suggestion for areas to look at for hotel. Will be flying out evening of 9/19. Thanks for all you quick advice. Link to comment
