AaronJB
I think there may be more amenities than you have included above. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper tool and look in the EASY VIEW TAB, do you see additional amenities beyond those listed above? If so, please confirm the full amenity set and we would be happy to take a look. If you see: 5* Center Strip - Fountains for $153.00 Free Internet Resort Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Guess would be the Aria, which has been seen with this amenity set previously. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
Is the amenity set above coming from the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool after clicking the GREEN 'See All Amenities' button? I'm very familiar with Las Vegas, is there a specific property you're trying to target or avoid? What are you looking for in a hotel for this trip and what is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes)? agenthehe
I've probably been to Vegas 20 times so I'm fairly familiar as well, just know you guys are really good at the game. Really looking at 4-5* Casino Prefer 2 queens (but can do king and rollaway or upgrade to queen later if we have to) Like a decent pool Thinking PH, Paris, Ceasers, Bellagio, Cosmo, Aria type places Budget $800-$1200 though flexible so $200-$300 a night with fees (cheaper for 4* but willing to go to high end for nicer 5*). thereuare
If you're interested in the 4.5* you listed above please provide the full amenity set as per the GREEN button in the BiddingHelper.com EASY VIEW tab. HOWEVER, it seems that Aria is one of your listed preferred properties and is the guessed hotel for the hotel you originally inquired about, and is well within your budget... if not this one then what 'more' or different is it that you're looking for? agenthehe
My only reluctance with Aria is it's probably the only hotel on the strip I've never been it where as I know what I'm getting with every other hotel on the list. IE is there a reason it's so significantly lower type questions pop up in my head. Make sense? Link to comment
thereuare
The Aria is a 5* property that generally gets similar reviews to most of the other 5* properties in Vegas (at any property you'll always find people that are not happy with their stay for one reason another... sometimes justifiably so; other times they're unreasonable. There are so many pricing variables that enter into Vegas pricing i wouldn't read into the lower price all that much... there could be conferences at most other nearby properties but none here and they offer a lower rate to try and draw in the business, maybe they just happen to have lower occupancy than they would like for these dates and are trying to put 'heads in beds' so that they have more guests who will utilize their fixed labor costs (staff at the pools, restaurants, housekeeping, etc), etc, etc. Given it appears to be the best value offered for your dates, perhaps now is the time add this property to your arsenal of Vegas experiences... if you like it maybe you'll want to return next trip, if not maybe you cross this off your list of hotels in the future, or maybe you decide it's worth it again 'at the right price'. AaronJB
I definitely agree that the lower price is an opportunity to try a new property out that you will hopefully find enjoyable enough (and it does get very good reviews) to make it a new "go to" hotel for future trips. I'm also seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the landing page): 5* The Strip - Southwest for $158 Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>A guess here would also be the Aria. You can use the coupon code in my signature for 5% off. agenthehe
Thanks for your assistance guys, never noticed the BiddingHelper.com tool until this trip (great tool). My buddy I'm going with now wants 2 queens for sure so that pretty much knocks out priceline and the cheap rate on Aria (as 2 queens is 202) unless you think it shouldn't be an issue upon arrival by just booking run of house and rolling the dice. Time to keep my head on a swivel looking 12 times a day :) Also I always use your guys liks to book, really appreciate the service this site offers! Link to comment
AaronJB
Thank you for your compliments, they're greatly appreciated! On the PRICELINE EXPRESS listing, I'm seeing $189 for 2 queens option. Total w/taxes + fees is 1077, which falls within the budget you noted earlier. Coupon code in my signature takes $37 and change off total. Would that be of interest? thereuare
Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your win with the board! As i had suspected that there may be more amenities than what was posted above when HOTWIRE indicated that the last person got Caesars, can you please add a reply to this thread confirming the full amenities HOTWIRE shows for this property, including any 'accessible' amenities, when viewing this purchase using the MY ACCOUNT >> MY TRIPS link on the top right of their home page.
