rcrew161
I will purchase through the links provided when I do. Looking for a 4.5/5 star resort preferably in the middle of the strip, although Encore/Wynn/Mirage are fine (just assuming out of my price range). Looking for around $100-110/night since I have plenty of time until my trip. Do you typically advise on waiting to book at a certain time when rates seem lowest? Would book the Vdara option right now as I've stayed there before, but I have heard terrible things about the Jet Luxury management of the property (reflected by the low prices I'd assume). thereuare
There is no way to know if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your trip. The best advice has always been to 'know' what a good deal is for your dates and if a good deal does appear then to take it, as it could easily disappear and not be offered the next time you search. If you're not aware, there is a large (30K attendees) convention starting on 5/9, and although you don't need this nite as part of your own reservation, rates may be higher than usual for 5/8 since many attendees will arrive the nite before the conference starts. Other than the offers above (a few which have increased in price) i don't currently see anything else on the strip and within your budget. rcrew161
Appreciate the insight on the convention. I was not aware of that so very good to know. I'll give it a few days and monitor closely and then jump on the best deal. Link to comment

rcrew161
So I went back and forth between this and the hotels on Priceline, but I kept an eye on the pricing a few times a day and it finally dropped for me on Hotwire. Got a room at Vdara (NOT Jet Luxury, which I've heard is a nightmare) for $119/night for 5/7-5/9. It was this one: Center Strip - Fountains FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Condo, Pet friendly, Suite, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Kitchenette, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower >>Vdara Thanks for all your help! I'm pumped with that price point and have stayed here before. Great hotel. Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. Definitely a very nice win for this Vegas property! Glad you were able to avoid Jet Luxury and are looking forward to your stay. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
