liveonboca
I think it might be Jolly Hotel Madison Towers per a last bid. It also fits the description at TripAdvisor. Link to comment
thereuare
I'd agree with your guess of the HOTWIRE offer above being the NH Jolly Madison. If this works for your needs the following would be a little cheaper and i believe is also the NH Jolly Madison: 3* Empire State Building Area for $114 Pets Allowed No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes OR how we can be of further help, as i'm very familiar with NYC. liveonboca
Thank you. I will not be pursuing the NH Jolly Madison. I saw it go down as low as $113 last night. I have a Plan B split reservation at the Hotel Chandler on Dec 14/15 (cancellation free) at $170 ($398.07 total) and The Evelyn on Dec 16, 17, 18 (cancellation free) at $131 ($462.84 total) but open to other options. I am traveling with my 20 yr old son to check out Wall Street/WTC, History museums, shopping, etc., and it will be his first time in NYC. My goal is to stay under $1,000 for all five nights if possible including all fees and avoiding (if possible) the resort fees. Thank you. Link to comment
thereuare
How about using PRICELINE / HOTWIRE to replace your split stays (confirm dates on any links provided below): For the first set of dates 12/14-12/16: 4* Empire State Building Area for $121 Pets Allowed Business Center Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be the Dumont NYC-An Affinia Hotel which gets excellent reviews For 12/16-12/19 you could stick with your current back-up or consider: 4.5* Downtown - Wall Street for $161 Pets Allowed Business Center Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> W New York Downtown which although is Downtown, gets good reviews and is a higher star rating then you're current back-up You can also look for alternatives to your current back-up using our sister site RefundableRates.com. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. liveonboca
The $121 supposed Dumont NYC is not adding the $25.00 Facilities Fee (per night) to the rate, so I am thinking that is it is probably NOT the Dumont NYC? At least I am not seeing it easily at checkout that one will apply to pay directly at the hotel? Does Priceline have any coupons out like Hotwire too? Link to comment
thereuare
The Iberostar 70 Park Avenue Hotel could be another possibility for the 4* ESB hotel, but it wouldn't be the first time that a PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel didn't show the resort fee. Even if not the Dumont (or the Park Ave) it should be a very nice hotel at this price given the 8+ user review rating. It would be appreciated if you used the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links for any purchases... or our sister site(s) MAPS and HOTELS.com (or RefundableRates.com) for your regular rate purchases. liveonboca
Thank you for your time. I am going to hold tight with my Plan B for now. Link to comment
