ansub1976 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Share Posted February 8, 2006 My third hotel reservation thru priceline with help from betterbidding.com!Thought of taking my girlfriend on a trip to Austin this weekend for Valentines. Bid for $30 for a 2* hotel in Austin South, SW, Downtown but couldnt get one. Finally I got one in Austin North, La Quinta Inn (xpedia and hotel.com say its 2.5* - not sure). With taxes it came out to $41. The best price I could see in regular travel websites is $84(with taxes). I pay less than half that much! Thank you so much for helping save so much money. This board is so very cool!And I used savingsbarn.com to get to priceline!Kris Link to comment
