Hotwire Hotel: Help Id'ing 4* Center Strip

We have a trip to Las Vegas planned for October.  I'm feeling really unsure about booking this far in advance but this is a trip for four couples.  I find prices for Las Vegas hotels high right now and it's even higher when converting to our sad Canadian dollar.  I saw this today and wondered whether there are any guesses.  It sure looks somewhat like the wins reported for Planet Hollywood and the Paris...but not exactly.  We are interested in both of those hotels.  We are not interested in Harrah's or the Linq, both which seem to show up as 4* properties on Hotwire.

 

Our dates: October 20 - 24th (4 nights)

Rooms wanted: 4 Rooms for 8 adults

 

Here's what we get when I select Hotwire Easy View:

4* Center Strip - $77 (US) 

Full Amenities: Pet Friendly, Casino, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness Centre, Pools(s), Restaurant(s), Business Centre, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

 

When I look for this through the regular HOTWIRE link, it also has an 80% rating.

 

Can you help with which Centre Strip hotel this might be?  Thank you :)

Best guess for this one would be the Westin Casuarina.

Hello and thank you for the prompt reply.  The Westin is not one of the hotels we would choose.  So we would take a pass on that option. We really want to be right on the strip.  We would love to get something in the $80-$90 US range, no more than $100 US/night with a GREAT pool.  Are we dreaming? We aren't interested in the SLS......too far.  Should we wait until later in the spring?

Nobody can say if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your trip, but i will add that there are a couple of smaller conventions during your trip (although collectively they add up to a moderate amount of extra hotel room demand):

10K attendees 10/18-10/20

14K attendees 10/18-10/21

14K attendees 10/21-10/24

 

If you're willing to increase your budget a bit i'm seeing what looks like the Mirage for $134/nite which is fantastic property with a very nice pool.

 

HOTWIRE does have a 4* hotel in the Strip North zone for $97/nite with:

Resort, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Free Parking, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower

--> best guess for this one would be Treasure Island... does this work for your needs?

Dates: October 20 - 24, 2016

Rooms: 3

4* North Strip - $104/ night

Full Amenities: Free parking, Resort, Casino, Fitness Centre, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business centre, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Tennis  nearby, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

 

It's tricker now that there are two 4-star selections on the North Strip but I'm guessing this to be the TI. What do you think?
